Trained in clinical psychology with a specialization in psychotherapy, Nadine Gharios practiced as a clinical psychotherapist for over 10 years. She had the opportunity to work in various clinical and community organizations, which has allowed her to develop a multidimensional view of the issues she deals with. As a member of the Société québécoise des psychothérapeutes professionnels (SQPP), she holds a psychotherapist permit from the Ordre des psychologues du Québec, a graduate degree in psychology, as well as a Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées (DESS) from l’École Nationale d’Administration Publique du Québec and a yoga instructor.
Over the years, she worked with a diverse clientele on a wide variety of issues such as personal development, grief and life transitions, relationship problems and stress management. In her practice, she worked in many professional environments. Whether in private offices, specialized clinics or through community organizations, they have all contributed to her experience working with clients suffering from mental health problems or addictions.
Her practice and academic background have provided her with a rich and diverse experience, encountering people of many different backgrounds and cultures. The sensitivity and respect she gained for individual differences, for the uniqueness of each of her clients, as well as for the specific nature of each problem encountered, allow her to tailor her approach to each intervention scenario.
